Will Writing Services

Mirror Wills £89 to £200*

*Can be reduced to £69 / £89. See below for more information. Prices include VAT where appropriate

How to reduce the price you pay

We can advise and arrange on your single and mirror wills from £69 and £89 respectively. We can discount our standard prices if you complete our questionnaire (online or paper) prior to meeting a Goodwills consultant.

You can reduce your costs even further by meeting at our offices rather than having a home visit (we can arrange appointments out of hours if appropriate). Reduce your costs even further by reading our recommendations prior to our meeting, so you can ask any questions you have, and once they are produced, you may wish to sign the documents with people you know, rather than arranging a signing meeting with us.

If you want us to do it all for you, that is fine, as our standard prices are competitive, but we offer plenty of ways to help you lower our costs if you would prefer to. This applies to all of our solutions below.

The following is included in our standard prices:

We provide a home visit service or you can visit us in our offices on Malmesbury High Street. We can provide daytime, evening and weekend appointments as required. We will certify your identification as required.

Revocation clause which revokes any existing wills, specifically to England and Wales if you have a Will in another jurisdiction, we will determine if this needs revoking, and mentioning this in the Will to make it easier for executors.

Specific clauses if you are unable to read or write. Adding any alias details if you have one to eliminate confusion. Including any other name you have had which where you have assets or liabilities in that name too.

Appointing executors and reserve executors. Appointing guardians and reserve guardians if required.

Including gifts to beneficiaries including the age they should received them if applicable. Appointing reserve beneficiaries in case the original beneficiary were to die before they received the gift. Gifts to charity if applicable.

Outlining how you wish to distribute the residual estate including making provisions if a beneficiary should die before you.

Noting funeral plan details and funeral wishes. Noting your financial advisior details if you have one.

Ensuring the will is signed and witnessed correctly.

Discussions and advice around the appropriate use of trusts. Looking at your assets and liabilities to see if there is a potential Inheritance Tax liability, and providing information on how this can be dealt with.
